Holy Week is the most important week within the liturgical year and calendar of the Catholic Church. Within the week we celebrate the culmination of all of the longings of the Hebrew prophets and the fulfilment of their and our hopes and dreams for redemption. Jesus demonstrates his love for us by embracing his passion, teaching his disciples to share in his love, and giving us the gift of reconciliation and eucharist.
